Privacy
Nosy is run by Vedaang Singh. This page lists everything the site keeps about you and why. If you want any of it deleted, email help@nosyapps.xyz and it will be gone within 7 days.
What we keep
- Your email address, name and profile picture when you sign in with Google. We ask Google for nothing else, so we never see your contacts, files or mail.
- Your email address if you join the waitlist.
- Your two answers from the start screen (what you are here for and where you are at), to show you the right plan.
- Your plan and payment status. Payments are handled by Polar, who act as the seller and keep your card details. We only see your email, the plan you bought and whether it is active.
- The build plans and apps you make. Anyone with a build's link can open it, so don't put private information in a change request.
- Your IP address next to each AI request, kept for 30 days to enforce usage limits and stop abuse.
Who else sees it
- Anthropic, which runs the AI that writes build plans and apps. It receives the app details and your change requests, not your email.
- Polar, for payments.
- Google, only to sign you in.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- PostHog, which counts page views and steps like signing up or building, and records how people move through the site so we can fix confusing screens. Everything you type is blanked out of those recordings.
- Railway, which hosts the site and its database.
We don't sell your data. PostHog runs without cookies, and we keep IP addresses out of it.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. Two short-lived ones (10 minutes) protect the Google and GitHub sign-in steps. There are no advertising cookies.
Emails
You get a welcome email when you sign up, receipts from Polar when you pay, and the occasional product update. Reply to any of them and we'll stop.
The app data on Nosy
Revenue figures, chart ranks, ads and reviews on Nosy come from public sources: App Store and Google Play charts and listings, the Meta Ad Library and public App Store reviews. If you run an app and want a figure corrected or your app removed, email help@nosyapps.xyz.
